WRITING

Alessandro Serena, Marcello Chiarenza and Cialdo Capelli, after the Arcipelgo Circo Teatro experience, committed to other productions together or alone in circus and other kind of live shows. Alessandro has the idea of an acrobatic theatre show, that, taking cue from Balkan atmospheres, could tell last men histories, those who live in the tougher reality. The project reflexes a part of Marcello’s esthetic still not used in the past creations of the trio. The one that permit to a homeless group to give to the junk object used and themselves back their dignity. The three take inspiration from romances or stories of the “last”, in this sense If it is a man or One day in the life of Ivan Denisovich, that tell lager histories (even if these themes aren’t directly treated in the show), are went over. The UE Culture Program 2007-2013 is a big chance to realize those that until now were only ideas and unfulfilled desires. After the approval of Homeless project, the work on the show is intense and for months Marcelo Chiarenza and Alessandro Serena meet between Milan and San Donà di PIave for some creative sessions, while Cialdo Capelli start composing the music inspired to Balkans, that give the atmosphere to the whole show. To see this long work there are many draft pages, a tight storyboard used as guide in the creation of a show in which the interpreters naturalness and inventiveness integrates and completes the starting idea. Writing in progress that starts from the creation on the paper and that changes on the stage with the living intervention of acrobats and clowns and that then is fixed again on the paper in a script even illustrated with actions and gags. Only the audience proof to decide the definitive shape of the show.
